2027; Atiku confirms opposition coalition against Tinubu, APC

Ahead of the upcoming 2027 electrons, former vice-president and 2023 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has announced the formation of a Coalition of opposition political parties to wrestle power from President Bola Tinubu and his ruling All Progressives Congress  (APC)
Other prominent opposition leaders in the coalition  includes  former governor of  Anambra State and presidential candidate  of the Labour Party  in 2023, Peter Obi, former Kaduna and Rivers  State governors,  Nair El’rufai and Rotimi Amaechi, and many  others
The former Vice President confirmed the coalition while responding to a question on behalf of the opposition leaders at a press conference at the Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja.
The briefing was organized by a number of opposition leaders to protest the recent declaration of state of emergency in Rivers state by the president
He said, “Yes, this is the birth of the coalition of opposition ahead of 2027″
This is even  as the coalition  has condemned  the recent  proclamation  of state of emergency  in Rivers state by president BolaTinubu, and demanded for the reversal.of the decision
