
Edwin Clark, a former federal commissioner for information and a prominent leader of the Ijaw ethnic group, has passed away at the age of 97.
The Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family of Kiagbodo Town, Delta State, announced his death in a statement on Monday, February 17.
Until his passing, Clark remained a respected leader and figurehead in Nigerian politics.
His contributions to the development of the Ijaw people and Nigeria as a whole have left an indelible mark on the nation’s history.
