Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 9, themed ‘No Loose Guard’ has seen to the emergence of Kellyrae as winner.
In a tightly contested finale, Kellyrae secured the top spot, surpassing Wanni, who finished second, and Onyeka, who took third place.
As the season’s champion, Kellyrae walks away with a grand prize package consisting of N60 million in cash and a brand-new car valued at N40 million, making the total winnings worth N100 million.
Kellyrae’s journey in the house was particularly notable, as he entered the competition alongside his wife, Kassia, who was evicted just one week before the finale.
Big Brother Naija has a long history of captivating its audience. The first season, held in 2006, was won by Katung Aduwak. Other notable winners include Efe Ejeba in the ‘See Gobe’ edition, Miracle in ‘Double Wahala’ (2018), and Mercy Eke, who became the first female winner in 2019.
More recently, Laycon won Season 5 in 2020, Whitemoney triumphed in Season 6 (2021), Phyna took the prize in 2022, and Ilebaye Odiniya claimed victory in the eighth season last year, securing a N120 million reward
