President Tinubu has ordered the immediate release of all minors standing trials for participating in the #EndBadGovernance protests about three months ago.
The minors who were brought to court last week are being charged for treasonable felony.
The trial judge had granted them N10 million bail each, a condition considered by some to be too stringent.
Their appearance in the court had attracted wide criticisms of the law enforcement agencies in the country.
Announcing the president’s decision, Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris said the order to release the minors is without prejudice to the ongoing court processes
