Hon. Emmanuel Okechukwu Muoka, the Honorable Federal Commissioner of the Public Complaints Commission in Anambra State, recently paid a courtesy visit to the Comptroller of Nigeria Immigration Service, Anambra State Command, G.N. Nzeribe.
The visit was aimed to strengthen the existing relationship between the Public Complaints Commission (PCC) and the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) in Anambra State.
Accompanying the Honorable Commissioner were Mr. Charles C Ekwunife, State Director of Investigation, Mr. Bona Umeasor, Assistant Director of Administration, Miss Ogechukwu Ubabuko, Public Relations Officer, and other staff members of the Commission.
The delegation received a warm welcome from the Comptroller and other senior NIS officers.
In his address, Hon. Muoka highlighted the mandate, roles, and services of the Public Complaints Commission, emphasizing the importance of synergy and collaboration between the two agencies.
The visit featured an interactive session where officers from both agencies engaged in discussions on areas of mutual interest, including their mandates, challenges, and opportunities for collaboration. Both agencies reiterated their commitment to strengthening their working relationship, exploring areas of collaboration, and sharing best practices.
The Comptroller of Immigration suggested a follow-up interactive session at the NIS office to further discuss their mandates and areas of collaboration. The courtesy visit concluded with the presentation of the PCC Act and other handbooks to CIS Nzeribe by Hon. Muoka, while the Immigration boss presented a gift to the Honorable Commissioner.
