Adewumi Amb. (Mrs) Rachael Adewumi, the Abuja market woman leader, has a clear vision for her members and the government in 2025.
She addressed journalists over the weekend in Abuja over the weekend.
For her members, she emphasized the importance of putting God first, by; prioritizing their faith in all aspects of life and business, adhering to the law; conducting business transactions in a lawful and transparent manner; supporting the government; collaborating with the government to achieve common goals of development and unity. On the area of customer-centric approach, she advised rh on considering the interests of customers while striving to maximize profits.
Her message to the government focuses on creating an enabling environment for women traders. She appealed to the government to: reduce or eliminate loan interest; provide affordable loans or interest-free loans to traders; be locating market shops directly to women traders, rather than non-traders who rent them out and; encourage traders, by implementing policies and programs that support and encourage traders in their duties.
