Alhaji Muhammadu Salifu Abdullahi, the President of Abuja Frozen/Fish Food Sellers Association (AFFOSA) has urged members to strictly adhere to the teachings of Islam and seek God’s guidance throughout the celebration of Eid-el-Kabir. Abdullahi emphasized the importance of celebrating with the will and involvement of God, while also being mindful of the economic realities facing many Nigerians.
Addressing the media on Wednesday in his office in Abuja, he also called on members to maintain affordable prices for their goods, ensuring that customers and Nigerians in general can participate in the celebration without financial strain.
The President emphasized the need for moderation in celebrations, allowing individuals to start anew after the festivities without financial burdens, just as he encouraged members to promote unity and friendliness by associating with other religious bodies and abiding by the law.
Bear him: “As we embark on this sacred celebration, let us do so with the will and involvement of God. Let us be mindful of our customers’ economic challenges and strive to maintain affordable prices for our goods. By being moderate in our celebrations, we can ensure that we start anew after the festivities with renewed vigor and purpose. Let us also promote unity and friendliness by associating with other religious bodies and abiding by the law.”
Abdullahi’s message serves as a reminder to AFFOSA members and Nigerians to prioritize moderation, unity, and economic responsibility during the Sallah celebration. By embracing these values, Nigerians can build a more resilient and compassionate society that benefits everyone.
