Anambra guber election is a sham, says Moghalu

The Labour Party governorship candidate in just concluded election in Anambra State, Chief George Moghalu has shown his dissatisfaction in the outcome of the election, saying the election was a sham.

Moghalu, While addressing some journalists in his country home, Uruagu Nnewi on Sunday, November 9, raised alarm over issues of vote buying across the state, agent intimidation and many more, stressing that the election was not credible,free and fair.

He criticized the inability of security agencies deployed across the state to stop vote buying.

“Vote buying was everywhere.It was visible despite the deployment of over 45,000 police officers across the state.
The entire process was faulty” he added.

Moghalu condemned report of underage voting in some polling units, questioning where and how such persons found their names on INEC register.

Furthermore,he lamented the omission of Labour Party’s name on the ballot paper, only the party logo, which he tagged a deliberate attempt to disenfranchise his supporters.He said they would issue a formal statement from the party, his campaign organisation, putting in details what has happened.
