In continuation of its public enlightenment mandate, the Public Complaints Commission (PCC), Awka, Anambra State, embarked on an awareness and sensitization campaign at the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) orientation camp located at Umuawulu on 29th of April, 2025.
The program aimed to inform and educate corps members about the role of the commission in addressing administrative injustice and promoting citizens’ rights.
The PCC delegation was led by Mr. Jude Nwosu, the head of the Awareness Unit, who coordinated the outreach activities and ensured smooth engagement with the NYSC officials and corps members.
A Comprehensive and interactive presentation was delivered by Nnadi Chinwe ,who addressed the corps members on the history,mandate and complaints resolution procedures of the Public Complaints Commission.
Her session highlighted real life examples of administrative injustices and how such issues were resolved through the commission’s intervention.
The presentation was followed by Question and Answer session where corps members expressed strong interest and asked relevant questions.
At the end of the presentation, information materials such as flyers were shared with the corps members to reinforce the key messages of the sensitization program.
