All Progressive Congress APC political party Stalwarts have tasked residents of Anambra State on the need for the State to connect to the Country’s ruling political party at the center assuring APC Party’s Readiness to Clinch Anambra State Governorship come November 8, 2025.
The APC political party Stakeholders gave the assurance during a Thanksgiving outing of the APC Governorship Candidate for Anambra Guber Elections, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu (Ikukuoma Ndigbo) at the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity Onitsha.
The thanksgiving service initiated by Prince Ukachukwu and his running mate, Senator Uche Ekwunife which was to show gratitude to God as a source of life, hope and success in all mankind’s meaningful endeavors was well attended by dignitaries, supporters of Ukachukwu’s gubernatorial ambition.
Prince Ukachukwu given his evangelistic back ground and enthusiasm on the things of God understands the significance of depending on God for victory at the polls received spiritual blessings after his thanksgiving from the Catholic Archbishop of the Onitsha diocese, Most Reverend Dr. Valerian Maduka Okeke.
Speaking after the Thanksgiving, the APC party Anambra State Chairman, Chief Sir Basil Ejidike assured that all arrangements are in top gear for their party candidate to win the Guber- election billed for November 8, 2025.
“You can see the mammoth crowd that turned up here at the Basilica today for just hearing that Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, Ikukuoma Ndigbo was coming here for a Thanksgiving service. We have only one God and our principal is here to identify with God.
“You can sense it in the air that APC is cruising to victory. The fact remains that the present administration has not done so much. Infact, APGA party has done its best but it is not good enough. The next thing is for APGA to give way.
“What we need now is a Change, for Anambra State to be reconnected back to the center. It is only when you are at of the center that you can attract whatsoever you want.
“Our people are tired of being in opposition. We want to be in the mainstream. That is what Anambra people are yearning for and by the Grace of God, we would achieve that this year come November 8. Our people are yearning for a change and we are here to provide the alternative,” said Ejidike.
On wether President Bola Ahmed Tinubu endorsed Governor Chukwuma Soludo during his visit to Anambra State, the APC Chairman stated categorically that it was not true disclosing that Mr President said that only APC uniforms or flags would be displayed warning that anything with APGA insignia should not be displayed at his reception.
“President Tinubu made it very clear during the visit that he is of APC and that he wanted to see only APC insignia on anything that will welcome him and that was maintained. We were the only people on APC regalia to welcome him. He barred everything APGA insignia.
“Moreso, few days ago when Mr President handed over the APC flag to our candidate Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu he said ‘Go and Get me Anambra. You have My Full Support ‘.
When someone asked him about the rumor that he endorsed Soludo. Tinubu replied: ‘ Soludo is my friend but my Support for my party is 100 percent. Party is supreme. Victory is Never negotiated’. In other words he will toe the line of whomsoever the APC party supports.
“We are going to do our best and God will crown our efforts. This is time for Anambra to connect to the center by joining the mainstream, ruling political party. We are tired of opposition,” Ejidike stressed.
According to Engr John Bosco Onunkwo, former APC Guber Aspirant and current APC Peace and Reconciliation Committee Chairman in Anambra State Election, we are here to thank God for what he has done for us so far. Thanksgiving is always in present continuous from, we must keep giving thanks to God.
“Yesterday we welcomed our candidate Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu and the Deputy Governorship Candidate, Sen. Uche Ekwunife in a rousing reception. Today we are here to thank God for being a father to all, We are here to give him honor and all adoration.
“Though I lost at the APC party primaries, I took it in good faith as a party man and decided to rally round the person who emerged as the party candidate who will eventually become the Governor come November 8, 2025.
The Ukachukwu/Ekwunife candidacy is a wonderful combination. Ukachukwu is a man of proven integrity. Also behind every successful politician, business man, or a successful man who has the mind of the people, behind a man giving a ticket for public accountability, there lies a woman who is also an enigma, an engine room, multiple times Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Multiple times House of Representatives Member and a woman of substance who is our Deputy Governorship Candidate. I can tell you the combination of Nicholas Ukachukwu and Uche Ekwunife is a cohesive bondage.
” It is almost like we have won the election because these are grassrooters. They have gone to all nooks and crannies of Anambra. These are people who have established memorials with Anambrarians. The duo have cut across every other party I’m Anambra State. So, they are a wonderful combination who needs the support of we who are the members of this party including the support of the supporters of the people who has passion for good governance. Anambrarians have been yearning for good governance. People should come together with us to have a movement to win this Guber- election.
“The APC party is united with the instrumentality of what we are doing. Today we have achieved up to about 93 percent reconciliation project to bring everyone together,” said Onunkwo.
