Satisfied with the performance of Onitsha Police Area Commander, Anambra State, Mr. Chidi Nzota, the Trinitas School of Evangelization, Onitsha Catholic Diocese, has honoured him with “Advocate of Justice”, award.

Earlier in his speech prior to the award presentation, a chieftain of the school and state chairman of Civil Liberties Organization, CLO, and Social Crusader, Evangelist Com. Vincent Ezekwueme, (AMBP-UN), said that the Catholic Church being a moral Compass bestowed the honor on Nzota based on his stand for justice, uprightness, selflessness, love for God and humanity.

He described the Police Area Commander as a man of integrity, and impeccable character maintaining that the award will serve as inspiration and hope to other officers and men of the Command to emulate Nzota’s truthfulness, selflessness, contemptible nature, love for God and humanity.

Bestowing the award of “Advocate of Justice,” on the Police Area Commander, the Coordinator/Director of the school, Very Rev. Fr. Anthony Igweagu, urged him to maintain the tempo of his service to God and mankind.

The Catholic cleric reminded him that the church has seen and heard of his positive impact on the residents of Onitsha and its environs which earned him the award and urged him not to relent adding that God picked him to restore the lost glory of Onitsha which he has done as residents now sleep with their two eyes closed.

In his post award speech, Nzota commended the Catholic Church for finding him worthy to be so honoured adding that it would spur him to do more.

“I enjoy the award more than others I have received. The Catholic Church is a morale compass and for one to be honoured by the church is a morale booster. What ever that made you to identify me as one of those recipients of the award, it will spur me to do more,” he assured.

“I dedicate this award to God, my dear wife, children and entire family. I am going to keep it so special, I am so glad,” Nzota reiterated.

Present to witness the presentation of the award to Nzota, included, his 2ic, Ogoma Chime, (CSP), Administration officer, Chioma Best Ubani, (CSP) and the Onitsha Unit Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, ACC Godwin Odo.
