The President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Barr (Nze) Ifeanyichukwu Obasi-Nweze (Mmuo), has issued a Democracy Day message to the Igbo community in the FCT, emphasizing the importance of unity.

According to Obasi-Nweze, while addressing journalists in his office unity is crucial for the Igbo people to harness their collective strength and achieve their goals.

Sending his message across while throwing lights on the importance of “Unity is Strength,” Obasi-Nweze disagreed with the notion that majority is strength, arguing that disunity among the majority can lead to weakness.

He however urged Ndigbo in the FCT to unite and learn to forgive each other, calling on those causing disunity to stop.

On democracy and leadership, he reflected on the nature of democracy, noting that its outcome often depends on the collective will of the people.

Nze Ifeanyichukwu Obasi-Nweze’s message serves as a call to action for the Igbo community in the FCT to put aside their differences and work towards a common goal. By embracing unity and forgiveness, Ndigbo can unlock their collective potential and achieve greater success.
