Ikenga Abiama Dynasty Foundation of Igboland has enstooled Ambassador Dr. Sir Clyde Rivers as its Diaspora monarch under the royal title His Royal Highness, KING AGU-EJI-EJE-MBA of Ikenga Abiama.
Ambassador Rivers was enstooled by His Imperial Royal Majesty, King Aba Obazi IV Enebiene Royal Dynasty, the Grand Patriach and the Supreme Commander of the Royal Court for Ikenga-Abiama Dynasty of Igboland.
The enstoolment dated June 5, 2025 was jontly signed by the King Aba Obazi IV and Amb. Dr. Uba Iwunwa (Queen Ugobeze), Founder and Empress of Ikenga Abiama Dynasty Foundation.
In an official statement, Queen Ugobeze, described Ambassador Rivers as a man who has made great humanitarian contributions, particularly in the areas of promoting peace, education, and social development.
“We at Ikenga Abiama Dynasty of Igboland feel fulfied to have a global icon like Amb. Rivers as our institutional king. It means so much to us and our mission because of what he stands for and represent at the global stage.
Amb. Iwunwa provides further details on why the board of the Foundation to choose Ambassador Rivers as their first institutional monarch:
“Amb. Clyde Rivers established iChange Nations, an organization aimed at promoting peace and humanitarian efforts worldwide. The organization works on initiatives that address social issues and encourage positive change in communities.
“Amb. Rivers has also served as a global ambassador for peace, advocating for conflict resolution and the importance of dialogue in achieving harmony among diverse cultures and nations.
“He has also been a strong advocate for education, particularly for marginalized groups. He has participated in various educational programs and initiatives to empower individuals through learning opportunities across the globe.
“He has worked with different organizations to promote human rights and social justice, striving to give a voice to the voiceless and campaigning against injustice in various forms.
“Throughout his career, he has received numerous awards and recognitions for his humanitarian work, including accolades for his efforts in promoting peace and understanding across different communities.
“Ambassador Rivers often speaks at international conferences and events, sharing his insights on leadership, peacebuilding, and humanitarian efforts. His speeches emphasize the importance of unity and collective action in addressing global challenges.
“His accomplishments reflect his dedication to making a positive impact on society and his commitment to humanitarian causes and we have no doubt that with him as our king, we are heading in the right direction”, Uba stressed.
