Chairman of People’s Democratic party (PDP) in Nnewi North Local Government Area,Anambra State and a Chief Executive officer of Ginikachukwu Multipurpose Company, Prince Ifeamuma Nwafor-Orizu in conjunction with Chinwendy Multiservices Limited produced a historical film titled ‘Nnewi Land of Gold’.
The movie which featured: Pete Edochie,Patience Ozokwa,Prince Ifeamuma Nwafor-Orizu, Jim Iyke,Steve Eboh,Zubby Michael, Col. Osigwe,Emmanuel Chidiebere Nwosu,Ebere Okaro ,Onyi Alex and many others had Prince Ifeamuma Nwafor-Orizu as Executive Producer,Chinwe Eboh as producer,Emmanuel Nwosu as Director among others.
Nnewi Land of Gold was a historical film which displayed Nnewi people as lion hearted to business.
It was about a successful Nnewi businessman Rob Orizu ( Jim Iyke)who was accused by his in- laws of using his wife for money ritual.
Rob’s source of wealth was revealed by a seer who narrated Rob’s origin which was linked to his father’s covenant with his gods Omariko and Idemili.
Reacting to this,Prince Ifeamuma Nwafor-Orizu said that the film was to celebrate Nnewi people who had contributed immensely to the development the community through their wealth.
He disclosed that people were of the opinion that Nnewi people were into money rituals which according to him was merely conjecture.
Nwafor-Orizu implored people to stop spreading fallacious information about Nnewi successful businessmen.
“Wealth comes from God,Nnewi is blessed land,”he said.
He enumerated qualities that made a successful man as:hardwork, determination, focus, sincerity, industrious, giving, and above all God fearing.
Nwafor-Orizu said Nnewi people were industrialists who believed in helping others to rise.
Highlights of event included birthday celebration of Prince Ifeamuma Nwafor-Orizu’s mother Lolo Odoziaku Nwafor-Orizu and cutting of cake by the celebrant and his son.
