Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, and Minister of Works, David Umahi, have commended the South East for not participating in the ongoing nationwide protests.
During an inspection of Federal and State road projects on Sunday, the leaders noted that the region’s decision to abstain from protests prevented potential losses and showcased a positive stance towards the Federal Government.
Mbah expressed gratitude towards the people for heeding calls to avoid protests and continue their daily activities. He highlighted the importance of patience with government policies, which, though not immediately clear, are well-intentioned and beneficial in the long run
