The Igwe-Elect Of Oba community, Engr. Sir Augustine Chinedu Emelobe(Eze Okpoko II of Oba) has pledged to support Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s Community Developmental Initiatives including ensuring that the Public Private Community Partnership PPCP was consolidated in Oba community.
The pledge was made at Idemili South LGA Secretariat, Ojoto during a courtesy call cum official presentation of His Magesty, Igwe Augustine Chinedu Emelobe EzeOkpoko II of Oba to the Chairman of Idemili South Local Government Area,Hon Mrs Amaka Obi(Iyom Ifeabata Idemili) as the newly elected Traditional Ruler of Oba Ebo iteghete by a delegation of Oba community leadership.
Speaking during the visitation, Igwe elect of Oba, His Majesty Igwe Engr. A. C. Emelobe commended the Mayor for her efforts to the development of Oba and entire Idemili South bringing solution to the grassroots.
“Everybody sees your activities via the social media as an ardent supporter of the Solution mandate. Infact, after the wife of our our Governor’s activities on healthy living, you are next, you work hand in hand with Soludo’s wife to support the administration of His Excellency. Who knows wether you will become the next Female Governor after the second term of our Solution Governor,” said Igwe Emelobe.
Igwe Emelobe pledged his unalloyed support to the government both at the state level and local government saying that he was going to his best to attract more developmental which includes convincing illustrious sons and daughters of Oba community both at home and in diaspora to think home, invest, and foster development.
Earlier, during the official presentation cum visitation, the President General of Oba Patriotic Union OPU, Engr. Anthony Uzo Ejiofor commended Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo CFR, for the massive Infrastructural development in Idemili South and for ensuring that the lingering Igweship Selection/Election process crisis in Oba came to an end according to the wishes of the masses.
Ejiofor further applauded Hon. Obi for complementing the efforts of His Excellency Governor Soludo at the grassroot level especially in the areas of Youths &Women Empowerment and Public Private Community Partnership initiative which the Mayor had been championing in the LGA much above her contemporaries in the other LGAs.
The delegation included dignitaries from Oba community, Chief Boniface Onyeka Okom II of Oba, Secretary of OPU, Nze Nwabueze Emebo, Former Speaker Anambra State House of Assembly Rt Hon Emeka Anyaenetu, Councilor Oba Ward 1, Hon. Ebuka Chibueze, Former Idemili South Deputy Mayor, Hon Ebuka Smart, Former Youth Leader Oba community, Chief Obi Ufondu (Ochiagha Idemili).
