History was made in the ancient Kingdom of Isiugwu Umana in Ezeagu Local Government Area of Enugu State on the 20th of March 2024, when the traditional ruler of the town, His Royal Highness Igwe Emmanuel Anichebe Akokwu , welcomed and presented an Award of Recognition of Excellent Work and Selfish Service to the Youth President of the community, Mr Eluke Ndubuisi, for his fight against drug abuse amongst youths, creating awareness on the danger associated in drug abuse, and inherent danger in substance abuse, including career enlightenment programmes for youths in the community.
The receipent who is the newly elected youth president of Isiugwu Umuna, was also recognized for the examplary leadership role he has continued to play among the youths in the community.
Describing Ichie Mr Ndubuisi as a blessing to the community, the traditional ruler noted that awardee has shown commitment on issues concerning the development of the town and the youths in particular.
Dignitaries including cabinet chiefs were present at the award ceremony.
