When service is very good and acceptable , smiles are put on the faces of people you are serving.
Service to the people has been the bedrock of . Prince Ikechukwu Samben Nwosu’s thrust in every area he found himself. Be it as a Knight of the Church Anglican Communion and United Nations Peace Ambassador, granted to him when he was a Federal Commissioner, he had used these different offices to prove his leadership qualities.
Thus, the cardinal zeal and hunger to serve and deliver quality service prompted Prince Ikechukwu Samben Nwosu to join the contest for the forthcoming Anambra South Senatorial District Election, which comes up by ,next month January 2025.
As a former president of Rotary Club of Nnewi, Prince Ikechukwu Samben Nwosu, was able to record enormous achievements in service to humanity which is what the well- respected club is known for.
In the course of serving humanity , Prince Nwosu was the secretary of Nnewi Improvement Union, where he served the people transparently and with uttermost humility.
Speaking in his house at Otolo,Nnewi on Monday, 16th December,2024,Nwosu said “the power belongs to the electorate adding that they have the power to vote someone in and vote the same person out if he fails to deliver”
He revealed the reason behind his intention to join the race was his friendship with late Ubah who according to him shared everything with him.
Nwosu said through late Ubah’s friendship, he realized that the change they yearned for was never a rocket science adding that for this position, an outspoken leader would stand a better chance in the race.
“This position requires an outspoken person not an introvert who is afraid of asking. You must know how to ask before you become a representative. I know some of my brothers are running for this position; they are all good in their own rights. But the question is, who will do what is required to be done?” he asked.
He confidentially stated that he has decided to serve the people unconditionally to defeat the Goliath called corruption. Nwosu promised to represent the people well in all angles.
“I am coming with a brand new style.In the first one year in the office, I am going to change a lot for the betterment of my people.
“As a leader, you should be someone everyone will be emulating. You must not have money to be a big man.There is different between riches and being successful.I think I am successful.I was writing my Common Entrance Examination when my father died and today I am successful,to God be the glory.What else will I ask for?.
“Trying to serve my people has been my hubby.In my church, I have been in leadership.At age 35, I was made knight ,I didn’t apply for it,it came to me naturally,”.he said
Nwosu restated his commitment to cement the cracks where there was error because according to him he knew where the problem was and how to address it.
Speaking on poverty, he urged the people to hand over this trust in his hand to eradicate poverty and bring a lasting hope for his people.He said he would make a benchmark for people that would come after him to emulate.
Nwosu assured the people of his undiluted commitment and readiness to serve.
“If the election is the one ,winner will take it all,run away with it, grab it,I am not part of it.But if the election is for the people to choose ,I am available to be used.
“For transparency, efficiency, and undiluted commitment, I call on the people to support me because I will deliver, ” Nwosu assured
