The Public Complaints Commission (PCC), Anambra State Office, on Tuesday, 29th October 2025, held a joint celebration in honour of its October celebrants, including the Honourable Federal Commissioner for Anambra State, Hon. Emmanuel Okechukwu Muoka.
The event, which took place at the State Office of the Commission, was a colourful occasion that combined the birthday celebration with the formal presentation of the Honourable Chief Commissioner’s Awards to two distinguished staff members of the Commission. The recipients had earlier been honoured during the Golden Jubilee Celebration of the Public Complaints Commission held in Abuja on 21st October 2025.

In his address, Hon. Muoka commended the award recipients for their exemplary performance and dedication to duty. He urged them to view the recognition as a call to greater service and a motivation to continue upholding the core values of the Commission.
The Honourable Commissioner also briefed staff on the key activities and outcomes of the Golden Jubilee celebration in Abuja, which he personally attended, highlighting the Commission’s renewed commitment to strengthening good governance, accountability, and citizens’ rights protection across Nigeria.

Assisting in the presentation of the awards, the Director of Investigation, Mr. Charles C. Ekwunife, congratulated the recipients and encouraged them to maintain the standards that earned them national recognition. He reminded them that “to whom much is given, much is expected,” and called on all staff to emulate their dedication and sense of responsibility.
In addition, it was noted that the monthly birthday celebration was an initiative instituted by Hon. Muoka upon his assumption of office as the Honourable Federal Commissioner in charge of the Anambra State Office of the Commission. The initiative provides an opportunity for the entire staff to come together each month to celebrate their colleagues born within that period, fostering unity, teamwork, and staff morale.

The Honourable Commissioner further advised staff to remain steadfast, disciplined, and committed to the Commission’s mandate of ensuring justice, fairness, and administrative accountability in public service.

The event was well attended by management and staff of the Commission, who expressed appreciation for the Honourable Commissioner’s leadership, mentorship, and continued efforts to promote staff motivation and institutional excellence.
