

The Public Complaints Commission (PCC), Anambra State Office, has successfully resolved a petition brought before it by Mrs. Ozumba Amaka Sabina, a widow who lodged a complaint against Premium Pensions Limited over the non-remittance of her late husband’s benefits.
Mrs. Ozumba had petitioned the Commission under the title “Non-remittance of my late husband’s benefits by Premium Pensions”, alleging that despite several efforts, the company failed to release her late husband’s entitlements.
Upon receiving the complaint, the Commission promptly swung into action, engaging the respondent and ensuring that due process was followed. After diligent investigation and sustained intervention by the Commission, Premium Pensions Limited released the sum of Ten Million Naira (₦10,000,000.00) to Mrs. Ozumba as her late husband’s pension benefits.
In an appreciation letter dated 14th October, 2025, Mrs. Ozumba expressed her profound gratitude and appreciation to the Public Complaints Commission for its timely and effective intervention, which led to the recovery of her husband’s entitlements. She further requested that the matter be formally closed, having been satisfactorily resolved.
