Federal Commissioner, Public Complaints Commission (PCC) Anambra State, Honourable Emmanuel Okechukwu Muoka has called for partnership with the Nigeria Police Force in addressing security challenges, human rights abuse, and social injustice in the country.
Commissioner Muoka stated this when he paid a courtesy call on Anambra State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Ikioye Orutugu, at the Police Command’s headquarters in Awka, on Thursday.
The PCC state commissioner disclosed that the visit was aimed at to strengthening collaboration and synergy between the two institutions in promoting justice, security, and harmony in Anambra State.
During the visit, the PCC Commissioner congratulated the CP on his appointment and commended his efforts in fighting crimes, which have yielded positive results.

The PCC Commissioner highlighted the key areas of collaboration include from the police force to include:
1. Streamlining complaint resolution
2. Promoting community-oriented policing
3. Capacity building through joint training programs
The CP, in response, promised to collaborate with the PCC in ensuring better service delivery to the people of Anambra State.
The PCC Commissioner was accompanied by the State Director, Mr. Charles C. Ekwunife, and some other staff members. This visit marks a significant step towards enhancing cooperation between the PCC and the Nigeria Police Force in Anambra State.
