Honorable Federal Commissioner Muoka’s courtesy visit to the Director of State Security Service, Anambra State Command, Mr. Steve Ojelade, PhD, mni, marks a significant step in strengthening the relationship between the Public Complaints Commission (PCC) and the Department of State Security Service (DSS) in Anambra state.
The visit, which took place on Friday, February 7, 2025, aimed to foster collaboration and cooperation between the two organizations in addressing issues of insecurity, corruption, and administrative injustice in the state. Accompanying the Honorable Commissioner were key officials from the PCC, including the State Director of Investigation Mr Charles C Ekwunife, Deputy Director of Investigation, Alex Aniemena, Assistant Director of Administration, Bona Umeasor, and the PRO, Miss Ogechukwu Ubabuko.
During the visit, Honorable Commissioner Muoka acknowledged the critical role the DSS plays in maintaining national security and promoting public safety. He also informed the Director of his assumption of office in October 2024 and sought collaboration to achieve the mandate of the Commission in the state.
In response, the Director assured an open-door policy and readiness to collaborate and assist the Commission in the discharge of her duties whenever the need arises. This partnership is expected to yield positive results as both organizations work together to address the challenges facing Anambra state.
