Frontline philanthropist, Engr. Obioma Success Akagburuonye has handed over a multi-million land documents he bought for the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Imo State chapter, even as he empowered his alma mater, Lorji Secondary School.
Soaked in solemn praises to God for finding him worthy of His blessings, Engr. Akagburuonye, who is also a Lawyer, on Thursday in Owerri, handed over the original legal documents of an expansive acres of land located in the Central area of Owerri to the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Imo State, for their Secretariat.
The event which was attended by the leaders of PFN from the state, national and zonal offices marked another milestone in the series of kingdom investments of Barrister Success Akagburuonye.
An unrepentant kingdom investor, Engr. Akagburuonye, who stated that the event was a fulfilment of a promise he made to the PFN Chairman, pledged to partner with the PFN to deliver a four storey edifice on that land for their Secretariat.
The State Chairman of the PFN, who is also the General Overseer of New Wave Assembly, Owerri, Bishop Dennis Jacobs, in an elated mood extolled Barrister Success Akagburuonye’s value and love for God and the body of Christ, stating: “His willingness to serve in the body of Christ is exceptional.”
Engr. Akagburuonye has also donated generously to the building of churches across orthodox and pentecostal space, sponsoring evangelism and sowing into the well-being of Kingdom workers.
He is currently financing the construction of a state-of-the-art church auditorium in Uvuru, Mbaise, Imo State for the Assemblies of God Church, christened the ‘Noah’s Ark’. As the name suggests, according to Engr. Akagburuonye, it is the first-of-its-kind architectural masterpiece in Nigeria that has the semblance of the Biblical Noah’s Ark, with over 1,500 seating capacity.
His philanthropy spans beyond churches, to include schools, healthcare, poverty alleviation, Scholarships, entrepreneural empowerment and job creation, with thousands of people benefitting from the programmes.
Friday, 11th of April, 2025, flanked by Old Students’ Association members, he donated the sum of N5 million to one of his alma mater, Lorji Secondary School, Aboh Mbaise, Imo State, to carter for students examination fees and other needs of the school, even as he also donated to the ongoing construction of St. John’s Anglican church building in Lorji.
Engr. Obioma Success Akagburuonye, who is also a titled Chief as ‘Akaraugo of Mbaise’, hails from Ogbor Uvuru, in Aboh Mbaise, Imo State.
