A leading contender for April, 6 Nzuko-ora President General election,Prof Edwin Mmaduka Chukwuma’s campaign Organization has wished to notify the people of Nnewi on a pressing matter regarding the recent primary election, purportedly conducted by Otolo Nnewi Development Union for their aspirants.
It has come to their notice that certain power-hungry and desperate individuals have been spreading false information, claiming that Prof Edwin Mmaduka Chukwuma participated in the sham election.
“We categorically state that Prof Edwin Mmaduka Chukwuma did not, and will not, submit himself to such an illegitimate process. The Nzukora Nnewi constitution does not recognize or encourage such actions, and we will not be party to any illegality.
“We understand that some individuals may stop at nothing to assume power, but we wish to disassociate ourselves from such unscrupulous behavior. We urge our supporters and well-wishers to remain focused and committed to our shared vision of a new and productive Nnewi.
“Let it be clear that Prof Edwin Mmaduka Chukwuma’s campaign organization upholds the principles of transparency, accountability, and legitimacy. We will not engage in any activities that compromise these values” they said.
