In a bold move, protesters have reemerged in Tudun Wada within Nassarawa Local Government Area of Kano State, despite the 24-hour curfew enforced by Governor Abba Yusuf.
The curfew was momentarily eased for five hours to allow Muslim worshippers to attend Jumaat prayers.
During this brief respite, a sizable group of youths gathered on the bridge between Tudun Murtala and Tudun Wada wards, expressing their frustrations with the current economic hardships.
Many carried placards, and the atmosphere was filled with chanting and clapping as they marched.
A young leader addressed the crowd before they took to the streets.
In related news, police in Abuja reported clashes with hoodlums, and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has praised the protesters, urging President Tinubu to listen to the people’s concerns.
