It was a glorious moment at the Cathedral church of St Mary, Nnewi in Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State as the leading Young Progressive Party(YPP) aspirant for the forthcoming Anambra South Senatorial District bye-election graced the Induction, installation and presentation of Ven. Ekenedirichukwu Remigus Chukwunazaekpere Iroanusi as the pioneer Sub-Dean of the Cathedral by his Lordship,Rt Revd. Ndubuisi Chukwuka Obi,Dean of the Cathedral and Bishop,Diocese of Nnewi.
Nwosu, who was given a warm reception on the holy Saturday, 19th of April 2025 has indeed showcased an Igbo adage that says”An old woman is never too old to dance a dance she knows well,meaning that experience and knowledge gained over time are valuable and never truly outdated, even as someone ages”.
Speaking during the Induction,Samben Nwosu appreciated God Almighty and His Lordship,Rt Revd Ndubuisi Obi for a successful installation of Ven. Iroanusi.
Nwosu disclosed that Ven.Iroanusi has been a long time brother and friend, who has indeed been endowed with divine capacity.
According to him, Ven. Iroanusi was his son’s godfather.He went further to mention other reverends who their relationship spanned from the days of their childhood to now they have become great servants of God.
He noted that he remained confident with the amazing spiritual gifts of wisdom, faith and discernment God has given to Ven. Iroanusi and therefore, urged the Church to continue to pray for him to succeed in this task of Sub-Dean.
The event was fully graced by the Chairman of the occasion, Chief Cletus Ibeto,CEO, Ibeto group,the executive Chairman of Nnewi North, Hon.Echezona Anazodo, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu,APC candidate for 2025 Anambra State governorship election,Nzuko-ora Nnewi PG,Hon.
