Congress (APC) and the senator representing Anambra South, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah held a mega rally at Ifeanyi Ubah International Stadium, Nnewi, Anambra State.
The mega rally attracted the presence of the National Chairman of the party, Alhaji Abdulahi Ganduje, Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma,Deputy Governor of Ebonyi State Lady Patricia Obilia and House of Representative Members,many others.
Speaking at the event, Gauduje was overwhelmed for the warm welcome given to them and the large crowd that attended the empowerment rally and he said that this has shown APC acceptance in Anambra State.
He thanked Ubah for the items provided to be shared and he continued to describe Ubah’s rally as enough proof that the 2025 governorship election would be won by APC.

Ganduje traced 1979 election, he said that South East would have produced a president in Dr Alex Ekwueme who was the then vice president under Alhaji Shehu Shagari if not the military intervention in 1983.
He continued to affirm that Shagari was strongly considering Ekwueme to succeed him .Ganduje revealed that he narrated the story to stress the need for the Southeast to connect to the center by joining APC.
“Road to political freedom is to key into the ruling party and once this is done,marginalization will be a thing in the past”he said
In his remarks, Hope said the party came to encourage Ubah to do more.
He said the current hardship in the country had been confronted.
“It is only temporary and will be conquered soonest ” he added
He said the greatest monsters that the previous governments feared to face for years were confronted by president Tinubu.
Hope disclosed that President Tinubu empowered National Assembly members with palliatives to distribute to the people to confront hunger and according to him the same they were doing at this rally.
The organizer of the rally, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah who had declared interest to contest for the Anambra 2025 governorship poll,emphasized the readiness of Anambra people to heed to the call into mainstream politics by electing an APC governor in 2025.
Items shared at the rally include buses,motorcycles, tricycles, generators, grinding machines, bags of rice and other food stuff.
