Several UTME candidates die in road accident in Oyo

Several candidates traveling to the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) died in a road accident on the Oyo-Ogbomoso highway in Oyo State.

The accident was reportedly caused by suspected brake failure.

The exact number of casualties and identities of the victims have not been disclosed.
