President Bola Tinubu on Thursday lauded several prominent Nigerian business leaders, referring to them as “wise men” while singling out Aliko Dangote as the most exceptional among them.

Speaking at the commissioning of the access road to the Lekki Deep Sea Port in Lagos, Tinubu commended the transformative infrastructure and praised the private sector’s role in driving economic growth.

“I landed here with four wise men: Jim Ovia of Zenith Bank, who is acknowledged worldwide; Femi Otedola, my baby brother; Samad Rabiu of BUA.
“And I believe, the wisest of them all, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, who is so daring in thinking and doing and believing in his own country,” Tinubu said.

In a tribute during the event, Dangote named the main road leading to the Dangote Refinery after President Tinubu, citing his “courageous” leadership and his consistent support for private enterprise.

The event attracted a number of dignitaries including Lagos Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Benjamin Kalu, Minister of Defence Mohammed Badaru, and others
