Wike appoints interim management for IBB Golf Club

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mr. Nyesom Wike, has appointed members to the Interim Management Board of the Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (IBB) Golf Club.

The announcement was made in Abuja on Saturday by Mr. Lere Olayinka, Senior Special Assistant to the Minister on Public Communications and Social Media.

Olayinka revealed that the new Interim Management Board will be chaired by Dr. Peter Deshi, with Yomi Oyelola serving as Secretary.

Other board members include Otunba Elegbeleye, Nanwor Mamven, Mrs. Ekanem Ekwueme, Arabi Bello, Lawan Aboki, Okey Nnaedozie, Fred Otobo, and Julius Fadairo.

According to Olayinka, the appointees are expected to commence their responsibilities immediately.

“The FCT minister congratulates the appointees and urges them to work assiduously for the repositioning of the IBB Golf Club,” he said.

It will be recalled that on April 4, the Minister inaugurated the club’s Board of Trustees, headed by Justice Monica Dongban-Mensem, President of the Court of Appeal.
