Youths of Karmo Sabo, a community of Gade tribe in Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Abuja, recently hosted a seminar titled “Karmo Sabo Gade Youth Seminar.” The event featured insightful lectures on unity, self-medication, and politics, aiming to educate and empower the community’s young minds.
The seminar’s program was carefully curated to address pressing issues affecting the community. Dr. Bala Solomon delivered a thought-provoking lecture on “The Importance of Unity and Development in Our Community.” He emphasized the need for collective effort and cooperation to drive progress and growth in Karmo Sabo.
Danjuma Gamunu Samuel’s presentation on “The Effect of Self Medication and Drug Abuse” sparked a lively discussion among attendees. He highlighted the dangers of self-medication and substance abuse, urging the youths to make informed choices about their health and well-being.
Mr. Gomna Maikasuwa Apology’s lecture on “Politics and Contemporary Issues in Gade Land” provided valuable insights into the community’s political landscape. He encouraged the youths to take an active interest in politics and contribute to shaping the future of Gade Land.
The seminar was attended by prominent figures in the community, including the Village Head of Karmo Sabo, Chief Umar Garni Sarkin Karmo. In his remarks, Chief Sarkin Karmo commended the youths for organizing the seminar, stating that it demonstrates their commitment to the community’s development.
Hon. Yunusa Karmo, a former councillor, also graced the occasion. He expressed his support for the seminar, emphasizing the importance of empowering youths with knowledge and skills to drive positive change in the community.
The seminar’s organizer, Danazumi Shehu, the youth leader of Karmo Sabo, was praised for his efforts in bringing the community together. Shehu’s dedication to promoting youth development and community engagement is evident in the success of the seminar.
