In Tuesday’s appearance on Channels TV’s Politics Today, Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), asserted that Governor Siminalayi Fubara is responsible for the violence that erupted in Rivers State following the local government elections.
Wike did not hold back in his criticism, stating, “The governor is the architect of the violence in Rivers State.” His comments come in the wake of significant unrest, including the burning of three local government offices, which has raised concerns about the stability in the region.
The former governor of Rivers State emphasized the legal implications of the situation, remarking, “The moment you don’t obey a court judgment, you invite anarchy and violence.”
