Social media critic, Martins Otse aka VeryDarkMan has been granted bail in the sum of N2 million with two sureties in like sum.
The blogger was granted N2 million bail in the court ruling in charge no. CR/510/2024: Commissioner of Police v. Vincent Martins Otse, aka VeryDarkMan, amidst stringent conditions.
The court also ordered VeryDarkMan to deposit his international passports and any other means of identification.

The Police had arraigned VDM for impersonation.
This followed the use of Police uniform as seen in a viral video clip.
The Police on Thursday had condemned the unauthorized use of its official uniforms and accoutrements by VDM in a video posted on his social media platforms.
