Ahead of the renewed security challenges and attacks in the Northern Nigeria, the federal government had alleged that there are strong forces from the zone that are working against the federal government and administration of President Bola Tinubu

Recall that terrorists have renewed their banditry and abduction of school children in the North-West of the country with the latest being attack on schools in Kaduna and Sokoto states.

While the Arewa Consultative Forum had while decrying the attacks and abductions blamed the renewed aatacks and abduction on strong insiders, the federal government, on the hand, put the blame on what it calls “strong Northern forces who are bent on destabilizing the President Tinubu administration.”

While over 200 students from a primary and secondary schools in the Kuriga community, in Chikun LGA of Kaduna were abduction last Thursday, another school in Sokoto state, Tsangaya students at Gidan Bakuso in Gada LGA of Sokoto, received a similar experience early Saturday as an undiclosed number of its students were abducted by terrorists.

Tsangaya is a school that combines Islamic and Western education.

Spokesperson of President Bola Tinubu, Ajuri Ngelale, who made the allegation while speaking on a TVC programme on Sunday evening, said, some sub-regional forces are “actively conspiring” against the stability of Nigeria.

Ngelale  assured that the federal government is “responding” to the conspiracy of these sub-regional forces, adding that the administration of President Bola Tinubu is working tiredlessly to secure every part of the country.

The presidential spokesperson disclosed that the US government has promised to provide assistance for the release of the abducted Kaduna school children.

He said, “Across the north, we understand that some of the sub-regional geographical forces are actively conspiring against the stability of the Nigerian nation,” he said.

“We are responding to it. We are doing it in a way that is concerted with our neighbours.

“It is worth noting that the United States government has also pledged its assistance to ensure that there is a full return of all school children, who were kidnapped recently in Kaduna.

“We will continue to intensify our collaboration not only within the region but internationally to make sure that some of the regional actors that are conspiring against our nation are brought to justice and ultimately silenced for the future of our country.”
