The President General of Obiuno Otolo, Nnewi in North Local Government Area Anambra State, Mr Dimka Nwanya and some of his executives had on Monday, 25th of March 2023, visited the erosion control project at Ekeochie Obiuno cum Egbu Umuenem.
The project which was sponsored by some illustrious sons of the community was almost at its completion.
Speaking with the journalists at the site, Dimka appreciated the sponsors of the project and continued to describe it as giving back to the society.
He added that it was a great sign and has proven that Obiuno Community was now a united family.
He appealed to the state government to assist the community to checkmate other erosion sites in the area.
Dimka stressed that his administration would continue to create the needed environment for sons and daughters of Obiuno to contribute to the development of the community.
Reacting to this,the treasurer of Obiuno, Chief Emeka Okafor commended the sponsors for their efforts.
He prayed that God will bless and reward them.
