The reappointed Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sunusi II,has formally received his Appointment Letter from the Kano State Government.
Sunusi,who arrived the Kano Government House on Friday morning with pomp and pageantry,collected his Appointment Letter from Governor Abba Yusuf.
The reinstated Emir was escorted to the venue of the event,The Africa House, located within the Government House in full Royal Regalia made up palace staff councillors,guards and trumpeters, amid singing and dancing.
The presentation of the letter of appointment to Sanus by Governor Yusuf came after a Federal High Court sitting in Kano issued an injunction stopping his reinstatement.
A source told our Correspondent that the reinstated Emir is scheduled to lead the Friday prayer at the Central Mosque near his palace in Kano city.
The source, however, said that Sanusi would delay his re-entry into the palace till Saturday when the deadline given to the dethroned Emir Aminu Ado Bayero,by Governor Abba Yusuf to vacate the Royal House within 48 hours,would have expired.
