Ogbede made the declaration when he received the members of Ngor Okpala born Journalists in his Umuekwune Obiangwu home
The director noted that the South east zone has been in need of roads, infrastructure, even as he emphasized that Ndigbo needs to gorge a United front to actualize the much needed, development
Ogbede noted further that the agitations in the southeast may have sprang up from perceived exclusion in developmental projects and assured that with the creation of the SEDC, it will development will soon be a thing of the past, judging from the priority Tinubu accords to Ndigbo.
He thanked President Tinubu for signing the bill into law and the immediate composition of the board saying it showed the priority the presidency accorded Ndigbo and the zeal to ensure development.
He stated that the President Tinubu led administration had shown love and concern for the region, via the creation of the South East Development Commission and expressed readiness to partner to improve the zone for greater heights.
He promised to work with President Tinubu and the SEDC board members with commitment, openness and sincerity in the discharge of his duties, even as he appealed for support from the people.
