The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) yesterday, March 6, 2024, commissioned a 100/125MVA power transformer at its 132/33kV Port Harcourt Main Transmission Substation.
The transformer has increased the substation’s capacity by 80MW, according to press satement by the agency.
The statement equally noted that TCN also carried out the complete rehabilitation and expansion of its 132kV switchyard with the installation of three additional outgoing feeders.
