TCN commissions 150MVA power transformer at JOS Transmission Substation

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) on Saturday February 24, 2024, commissioned a new 150MVA power transformer at the 330/132/33kV Jos Transmission Substation.

The new transformer has added 120MW to the substation’s capacity, increasing bulk power available for Jos Disco to distribute to its customers in JOS, MAKERI and KAFANCHAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT of KADUNA STATE.
