The Young Progressive Party(YPP) has organized a day sensitization workshop,themed:Anambra State our Dream,Re-strategizing
for a better future.
The workshop was held on 28th of February, 2025,at the Hollywood Event Center, Awka, the State capital.
It attracted the presence of YPP personalities accross the country,among them were:the National Chairman of YPP, Comrade Emmanuel Amakiri,represented by the National Secretary, Bar.Vidiyeno Bamaiyi,State Chairman of the party, Hon. Prince Moses Obi,State leader of the party, Dr Chinedu Umeadi(Agunaechemba), key party stakeholders,a leading Senatorial aspirant,Prince Samben Nwosu and others.
The State Chairman of the party,Hon. Moses Obi in his address, welcomed everyone present. He expressed his deepest gratitude to the party State leader, Dr Umeadi for sponsoring the workshop.
He described Umeadi as a man that has contributed immensely to the development of their great party.
Obi extended his gratitude to the keynote speaker, the National Secretary of YPP for their contributions,adding that the workshop was a crucial step in the party’s effort to re-strategize and re-position themselves for the challenges ahead.
“I believe that the future of our state belongs to us.It is our responsibility to shape it” he added.
Obi advised them to come together to share their vision and work towards achieving a common goal.
Bar.Bamaiyi,the National Secretary of YPP while speaking, emphasized the need to remain united and work to ensure unprecedented victory in all leadership positions in Nigeria.
“With determination, we can achieve our common goal which is winning”he said.
He urged members of the party to be committed, because according to him together, achieving their dreams would be assured.
On the same note,the party State leader, Dr Chinedu Umeadi encouraged the party members to work tirelessly to build the party.He used late Sen Ifeanyi Ubah’s commitment to the development of the party before he joined APC, to encourage its members to be committed, adding that late Ubah would be remembered for his doggedness and undiluted dedication while in the party.
A leading YPP aspirant for Anambra South Senatorial by-election, Prince Samben Nwosu expressed his gratitude to the members of the party that have shown him love ever since he joined the party.
Nwosu,having declared his intention to fly the party’s flag in the Senatorial bye-election, has brought to the table his unique leadership style which would guarantee a better Anambra South.
He promised to do his best to take the party to a greater height. Nwosu also assured them that his presence in the party would
create a sharp impact.
As former Federal Commissioner,he has proven to have all it takes to bring Anambra South Senatorial zone to limelight.
